Rice's Recent Off-Field Troubles

The receiver missed the initial part of this season due to an NFL suspension for his involvement in instigating a crash on a Dallas highway that left multiple people hurt. He was sentenced a month of incarceration and five years’ probation after entering a guilty plea to serious offenses.

Statistically, he concluded the year with 53 catches for 571 receiving yards and five TDs as the Kansas City finished with a losing record and missed the playoffs for the first time in a ten-year span.
